APAC : what is it ?

APAC is the Professional Alliance of Commercial Agents of France. It represents in France and internationally the profession of commercial agent, a real outsourced sales force for companies, suppliers and manufacturers.

Our tasks? Represent, support, defend, promote the profession and facilitate the recruitment of commercial agents, whether they exercise as a sole proprietorship (, self-employed) or entrepreneur at the head of a commercial agency.

Member of IUCAB, APAC contributes to the advancement of the profession of commercial agent. The Alliance actively participates in promoting and defending the profession of agent commercial agent at international congress and meetings (LWG, SWG, EXCOM).

How does APAC work ?

APAC is managed by a mixed board of directors made up of volunteer commercial agents and composed of a President, five vice-presidents including a vice-president treasurer and administrators.

On a day-to-day basis, three permanent employees, including two integrated legal advisor with degrees from Lyon III University specializing in commercial agent law, provide legal assistance and are available to answer your questions

Our members

In 2021, APAC has more than a thousand commercial agents, working as an independent entrepreneur or in company.

By joining the APAC, our members undertake to respect the Alliance’s code of ethics, and to pay the membership fee, the amount of which is voted each year in the General Assembly by the members.

Our services

A personalized legal service

Our legal advisor specializing in commercial agent regulation answer your questions and requests daily by email, videoconference or phone. If necessary, they can also deal directly with your principal or his legal department. Specialized in questions about this type of outsourced sales force, our team supports you on:

- the administrative and legal formalities of the statute (RSAC registration, CFE and CERFA forms, terms of termination of activity, etc.)

- the drafting and check of your contracts in France and abroad as well as other acts linked to the activity of commercial agent

- the management of disputes with your principals and litigation

- putting in touch with lawyers specializing in commercial agent law in the event of legal proceedings

- other matters relating to the law, accounting and taxation of agencies and commercial agents
